Event Description

Holland PRIDE and Out On The Lakeshore is excited to host it's annual Run with PRIDE 5k in-person for the second year, this year taking place at Helder Park! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Run with PRIDE 5k was held first as a virtual run in 2020, and last year we celebrated PRIDE with our first-ever in person race. This year we're back and hope you'll join us on Saturday, June 4 for the Run with PRIDE 5K, or join us in the week leading up to the Run with PRIDE by participating virtually!

This run will be self-timed but we encourage you to track your run with the app of your choice then upload your results, take photos, and share them with the hashtag #RunWithPride5K

If you choose to join us for the in-person race, you will be assigned and emailed a wave time in the week before the race, or you will be assigned a wave when you check-in. Wave times are 9am, 9:10am, 9:20am, or 9:30am. Once a time is assigned, minimal changes can be requested to accommodate participation with friends/family however these cannot be guaranteed. It is encouraged that you sign up together or email us at info@outonthelakeshore.org to request wave placement with another participant. Please only approach the starting line when your wave is announced.

Packet-Pickup will begin at 8:30am on Saturday, June 4 at Helder Park prior to the race*. Anyone participating virtually can still pick up their packet at this time, or can pick it up during open hours at Out On The Lakeshore the following week (Tuesday and Thursday, 1pm-7pm).

*Please note that you must sign up  by May 18 in order to receive a Run with PRIDE shirt.
