Let’s move to save a child’s sight!

The annual Cure Coats’ 5K Run/Walk raises money to fund research for a cure for Coats’ Disease. Coats’ Disease is a rare eye disease that causes leakage of the blood vessels behind the retina, resulting in swelling, retinal detachment, vision loss, blindness, and sometimes, even the loss of the eye. The majority of patients are diagnosed as children, and often too late for early intervention to prevent vision loss. While research has improved treatments, there is still no cure. Events like the Cure Coats’ 5K are key to funding the breakthrough research so desperately needed.

The Cure Coats’ 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, June 18 at 9:00 AM at the Sierra Point Marina in Brisbane, CA. Perfect for children and adults of all ages and fitness levels!
