Event Description

Each year hundreds of young people in Washington experience homelessness. Many also age out of foster care with little or no emotional or financial support. Adding to the challenges youth face, drugs like fentanyl present a serious and ongoing danger to their lives. Harbor Hope Center provides the only youth emergency shelters and life skills program for students in Gig Harbor and the Peninsula. Host Homes provide a family environment for young adults trying to make it on their own. The outreach provided literally saves lives each day and changes the nature of the community. Harbor Hope Center also provides mentors to students in the Peninsula School District.
