Event Description

We invite you to participate in Passavant Hospital Foundation's 10th Annual 4K and 8K Run/Walk on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 7PM. This year, we are introducing a virtual race that will take place starting Monday, August 1st through Wednesday, August 31st, 2022. 

In Person Race Details

On Friday, August 12th at the North Park Pool Loop, the starting line will be by the Harmar Pavilion near Pie Traynor Field.
You will need to be arrive no later than 5:45PM before the Allegheny County Police shut down the road.
The race will start promptly at 7:00PM.

All participants will receive a FREE T-Shirt and race bib (your number).

Virtual Race Details

You have from Monday, August 1st through Wednesday, August 31st at Midnight to complete the 4K or 8K Race on ANY COURSE YOU LIKE. If you choose to do the virtual event, you will receive a FREE T-Shirt, your race bib (your number) and a finish line sign to take a fun photo to show us you completed your race! 

Registration Packet Pick Up and Mailing Procedures
Starting Monday, July 25th, every day at Passavant Hospital Foundation from 9:00AM to 4:00PM you can pick up your registration packet.

Pre-Scheduled Days for a Late Pick Up Day until 7:00PM and an Early Pick Up Morning starting at 7:30AM will be scheduled. We will notify all participants when those dates and times are by email.

If you choose to have your registration packet mailed, we will mail a couple times a week to make sure you have your packet.

There is a $6 Coverage Fee to have your packet mailed. 

Award Categories

If you participant in person, your race bib is tracked during the race. If you are virtual, going off the honor system we ask you submit your time to Amanda Posa at posaaa@upmc.edu.

4K Race: 1st Place, 2nd Place and 3rd Place Overall for Women 
4K Race: 1st Place, 2nd Place and 3rd Place Overall for Men

8K Race: 1st Place, 2nd Place and 3rd Place Overall for Women 
8K Race: 1st Place, 2nd Place and 3rd Place Overall for Women 

Virtual Award Categories:
4K Race: 1st Place, 2nd Place and 3rd Place Overall for Women 
4K Race: 1st Place, 2nd Place and 3rd Place Overall for Men

8K Race: 1st Place, 2nd Place and 3rd Place Overall for Women
