Event Description

Welcome to the 8th Annual Haiti 5K Walk/Run: Christmas in July run!  This fun, chip-timed 5K is located at Travis Price Park on its beautiful, shaded FLAT greenway.  Race course begins near the bandstand inside the park and goes to turnaround past Legion Field and back.

Every participant will receive a medal with trophies going to the winners in each age group. Overall male and female winners receive $100. Stay and enjoy our food trucks! 

All money goes to support Emmanual Haiti and the children of Jeremie, Haiti. Each participant's bib will feature the name of one of the children in Haiti. 

Event details and schedule

Registration and packet pick-up day of race begins at 4:30 p.m.

Race is a chip timed (A Matter of Timing) night run with a fun run for children at 5:30 p.m. followed by 5K at 6pm.  Course is beautiful flat greenway.

Christmas costumes are encouraged.  Prizes to top 3!

Top Male and Female Finishers overall will receive $100.  Medals to all particpants. Trophies to top 3 finishers (male/female) in age categories in increments of 10 years. (i.e. 10-under, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, over 60)

Award for largest team and team that raises the most donations.
