Event Description

Young Life is an ecumenical christian outreach to high school, middle school and special needs kids in the USA and around the world. The Run For The Kids is sponsored by Young Life of Howard County and Catonsville. Proceeds will help send kids to summer camps.

Event details and schedule

Young Life Rin For The Kids is a 5K race and 1 mile Fun Run/Walk scheduled for June 11, 2022. Registration opens ant 8:30 am and the race starts at 9:30 am. The race begins at beautiful Hopewell Park and follows paved pathways around Lake Elkhorn and park. Expect to see wildlife such as deer, geese and unique birds. There will be a light breakfast, post race snacks and waters. Medals and prizes will be awarded to the first three 5K male and female finishers. Medals will be awarded to the other first place winners, male and female of each age group: 13 & under, 14-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. Also medals to Fun Run/Walk first 3 overall men and women. Folowing the race runners will also be entered into a raffle for additional prises.
