Event Description

Bike along tranquil country roads through pristine farmland. Tour travels along an amazing view of the Roanoke River Valley. The Country Roads Bike Tour offers a 25,50, and 100K course. All courses will begin and end at the Town hall. Along the courses there wil be quality rest stops with nutrients to help you stay energized and hydrated throughout your journey. Routes are visibly marked and will be monitored in order to respond to any safety needs. After the ride, you can enjoy lunch "on us" on the Town Commons. You may also take the opportunity to tour the world's largest collection of rare and endangered waterfowl at Sylvan Heights Bird Park.

Event details and schedule

Ride begins at 9:00 am on May 21, 2022. On-site registration is 40.00 and begins at 8:00 am. Light breakfast will be offered. Overnight camping on the commons is available, with restroom access, for Friday night, May 20,2022.
