CHARLOTTE SPRINT WEEKEND
PORTER FARMS, CONCORD NC

Spartan Race is pleased to return to Porter Farms, a 600-acre family owned and operated establishment in the peaceful town of Concord, North Carolina. The course will be spread out over 100 acres of land that typically plays home to peaceful pastures on a sprawling farm, but on this weekend it will transform into an outlet for the passionate Spartan community.

Despite being a fast and flat course, this venue provides racers with an array of difficult challenges that are guaranteed to push each participant to their limit. Don’t miss out on kicking off your Spartan season with this fun, yet challenging, Spartan Super and Sprint.

The Sprint may be our shortest distance race, but it’s still a favorite amongst both new and returning racers. It’s the perfect distance for those looking to start their Spartan journey. The Sprint also allows returning racers a manageable distance to see how far they can push themselves. Delivering 20 obstacles over 3 mi / 5 km, you’ll never run the same race twice. Once you complete the sprint you are 1/3 on your Spartan TRIFECTA: The ultimate Spartan achievement.

Registration opens at 6:30am.

Your ID
Barcode (print or save your registration barcode to your phone.)
Towel & extra (dry) clothes
Recommended: Headlamp and Camelback

WHAT NOT TO BRING
Outside food and drink (racers, fuel for the race is OK), Negative Attitude

WHAT TO WEAR
We recommend dressing in performance gear (NOT COTTON). Think compression tights or shorts and breathable tops made from water wicking material. Wear comfortable shoes that you’ve trained in, but beware, they are going to get dirty.

In addition to your clothes, consider fuel when planning for race day.

For a Sprint distance you can normally get away with the water stations on course, but for our longer distances (Super, Beast, Ultra) we strongly suggest wearing a hydration pack and carrying energy gels or Clif bars.

We have all you need to gear up for race day at the Spartan Shop.
