Event Description

The trails on Wood Hill provide spectacular views as you run along the rim. The drastic elevation changes as you go up and down the hill test your endurance. This short triathlon is a great way to prepare for longer triathlons. It is a race you will want to come back and do again each year.

Event details and schedule

Packet pick-up will be available starting Friday night, the day before the race at 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Then again from 7:00 am to 8:30 am the day of the race. Bring you ID, proof of payment and race waiver.

8:00 am and 8:30 am Bikes should be dropped off at the Wood Hill MTB Trailhead the day of the race.

8:45 am Racers doing the swim must be at the Desert Wave Pool ready to go. Spectators should park east or north of Pioneer Park if they plan to drive up the hill to watch the running and biking part of the race. Parking on Wood Hill will be at the Lukes Loop trailhead. Volunteers will be at the top of the hill to direct you.

500 north will be closed from 100 East to 200 East the day of the race to protect runners. Vehicle access to Wood Hill will only be available at 900 North.

Avalanche Rd will be closed from Wood Hill Rd to Price-Kenilworth Rd the day of the race to protect bikers, along with Price-Kenilworth Rd from Avalance Rd to Cedar Hills Dr.
