CITI FIELD SPRINT (STADIUM)
The Sprint may be our shortest distance race, but it’s still a favorite amongst both new and returning racers. It’s the perfect distance for those looking to start their Spartan journey. The Sprint also allows returning racers a manageable distance to see how far they can push themselves. Delivering 20-23 obstacles over 3-5 miles, you’ll never run the same race twice. Once you complete the sprint you are 1/3 on your Spartan TRIFECTA: The ultimate Spartan achievement.

$12 per car. Cash only. Pay as you enter. Citi Field is easy to reach via mass transit systems such as the New York City Subway.

Starting at 7am, waves of 15 racers will be released every minute. You will receive an email approximately one week before the race with your race times.
YOUR exact start time in the group you registered for will be posted under the Race Day tab approximately 10 days prior to the event date.

ARRIVAL: BE EARLY.
Arrive an hour and a half before your start time. This gives you plenty of time to park, pick up your packet, drop your stuff at bag check, and get warmed up.
Registration opens at 6:00am.
WHAT TO BRING
Towel & extra (dry) clothes
Recommended: Headlamp and Camelback
Head on over to the Mobile Locker Truck for secure storage for your valuables
What not to bring:
Outside food and drink (racers, fuel for the race is OK)
WHAT TO WEAR
There’s no dress code, but you’ll be running in mud and water, climbing hills and mountains, under barbed wire and jumping fire.
Our elites recommend: performance gear (NOT COTTON), water packs, compression underwear, Clif bars and energy gel. Visit shop.spartan.com to gear up for your race.
Advice from experience: is to race in what you train in - new shoes on race day are NOT recommended.
