Event Description

"We're "Lookin' For a Cure" in the valley of the sun this year! Join A Cure in Sight and HonorHealth Scottsdale, in Arizona on Saturday September 24, 8AM-11AM, to walk or run with us. We will be taking steps to find a cure for a rare eye cancer, ocular melanoma. Ocular Melanoma is estimated by the American Cancer Society to have roughly 3000 new cases each year nationwide. Here in Scottsdale, HonorHealth Research and Innovation Institute, led by Dr. Justin Moser, is hard at work to monitor and treat patients with Ocular Melanoma risks, or who are experiencing metastatic disease. Bring your friends and family to the race day--all ages welcome to walk or run the course at the Scottsdale Sports Complex!
