Event Description

Join us New Year’s Day, Sunday, January 1, 2023 for the "RAISE FOR GLASS 2023"  first day of the year 5K on the most beautiful waterfront and beach front restaurant settings in Tampa Bay.   

On New Years Day morning at 9:30 a.m. we will kick off 2023 with our RAISE YOUR GLASS wine glass finisher's medal or a selection of others as we intend to make 2023 A GREAT YEAR BY STARTING IT WITH THIS 5K run or walk.

An email will go out to all registrants the afternoon before the race with arrival and parking instructions.

We will run or walk this gorgeous 5K on the hard packed sand for an out and back run to the west. Then you will  finish with the best selection of finishers medals in the world!!

Caddy’s Pub is the perfect venue host to kick off the new year with our first 5K of the year. This run/walk  will be electronically timed and includes a race day promotional tech run shirt and free beer.

Check in opens race day as early as 8:45 a.m. at Caddy’s on Indian Shores. Just prior to 9:30 a.m. we’ll walk you across the road to hard packed sand of Indians Shores where we’ll enjoy and out and back 5K run/walk along the coast. Though the sand is firmly hard packed there is no barefoot running allowed. The terrain is much more like asphalt than vs. soft beach sand. After the run we’ll head back to Caddy’s Pub for a great post race party.  There is no race day registration.

 We will head back to Caddy’s after the run for post race drinks and new year's morning celebration!
