Event Description

Hey Lehigh Valley, we can do hard things! You know you're tough, we know you're tough, so why not take on all those short hill repeats you dread, packed into one grueling effort? This virtual race gives you the whole month of August to perfect your climb, record it on Strava, and see how you stack up on the leaderboard. You don't even have to display your time if you don't want to! Instead of traditional overall & age group awards, all entrants will be eligible for free local race entries and great prizes from local running stores, top-name gear companies, area breweries, and other local spots. Just run your mile and record your result sometime in the month of August to be eligible for the random drawing that will be held on September 1. Top M & F overall and masters finishers will be guaranteed a drawing prize. You could win a dozen donuts, or you could win a new pair of shoes. Who knows?? You've got to run to find out!
Every participant will receive a medal (pick it up approximately one mile from the race at your convenience) and very cool optional swag will also be available for purchase.
Why are you doing this? Why are we doing this? Well, there is an abundance of opportunity for outdoor adventure in the Greater Lehigh Valley, but not every athlete can access it. The proceeds from this race will be used to provide adaptive equipment for sporting opportunities for physically challenged athletes in the Lehigh Valley, because we ALL can do hard things!
