Event Description

In 2004, a legend was born. The King of Pain is the toughest road race in the history of Glastonbury... until NOW!

Because what's more challenging than 10 miles of hills in South Glastonbury in the cold winter?  Running it in the opposite direction in the heat of the summer!

The Glastonbury River Runners are proud to partner with our friends at Open Doors Outdoors to present the inaugural Queen of Wrath road race!

You get: Pride for crushing a bunch of Glastonbury's toughest hills, only in the opposite direction of the King of Pain.  Which is harder?  YOU DECIDE!

Awards: The top three male & female finishers will be crowned the 2022 King & Queen of Wrath with great pomp and circumstance.
