About the DCG Scholarship Fund
Since 2019 the DCG Scholarship Fund has awarded over $37,000 in scholarships to rising seniors in the Noble Charter School Network. We believe in lifting up students who showcase creativity and growth through adversity. We're here to provide confidence and resources to those who have struggled and have overcome. We don't expect 4.0 GPAs or perfect transcripts from our recipients, we expect courage and a willingness to keep pushing forward.
5K Details and FAQ
Why a 5K? Dave was a teacher and an athlete. This run will help us raise the money we need to keep supporting the fund, while also honoring one of Dave's favorite pastimes.
How does the "virtual" 5K work?
- As we get closer to run weekend, we'll be posting different gathering places and times across the country where you can run with a crew (or you can always do your own thing). Each registration fee comes with a custom t-shirt designed specially for the event (design coming soon!) that will be mailed to you after the race (we're running behind on shirts!)
- You have to run and submit your time between 6/24 - 6/30 to qualify. You will receive a bib number prior to race day and will submit your time on the site using your bib number as the identifier.
- This year's top 3 runner's will receive special commemorative certificates (oh-la-la!)
