Event Description

This event is brought to you by OFF THE GRID RUNNING. June-pie Moonpie 20k is a rugged, adventurous, evening fun run that takes runners down hilly, back roads (mostly unpaved) to a beautiful turnaround point and back. 20k runners will have to run 3.1 miles, find a rock with their number on it, return it to the start and repeat the out-and-back a second time. 10k runners will complete one rock-seeking out-and-back. Fun run finishers get a moonpie. Water will be provided; 40 runners max.; 2.5 hour cutoff. Sunset is at 8:51pm, so it will be light enough to see until 9:20pm.  From this event, a donation will be given to ZERA HOUSE, a home of restoration for teens & women in WV.
