Event Description

This year the Color Run is being held to bring awareness to child sexual and physical abuse. It is of the utmost importance to Connections: A Center for Healthy Families that we keep our community and children safe and informed so; please join us in the fight against child abuse. Our community partners from Beyond Survival and the Crisis Support Network will be there to offer resources and information.

Bring new or gently used stuffed animals for our Stuffed Animal Drive. Every child that walks through the Children's Advocacy Center's doors is presented a stuffed animal which can be a great source of comfort in such a difficult time.

The Color Run for Awareness is a family-friendly, untimed, non-competitive 5K (3.1 miles) fun run/walk that is open to all ages and abilities. So, where a white t-shirt and get splashed with color along the way. It starts and ends at Fleet Park in downtown Montesano. After the race feel free to enjoy the Montesano Farmers Market.

The course is ran on the sidewalks and roads in Montesano.  This is not a closed course, so runners must be aware of traffic and follow all traffic laws.  Please cross in crosswalks and be aware of your surroundings.  

T-shirt size selection will be limited on race day.  Register by July 27th to guarantee the proper size.  

There will be water provided at the start of the race and every color station.  There will be garbage cans at every color sation.  The only bathroom will be at Fleet Park.
