Event Description

The Race with Grace 10K is a USA Track & Field certified road race that was established in 1991. Held on Thanksgiving morning at 9am, the race begins in front of Lakeshore Community Church on Latta Road. Following a flat, fast course, the route finishes in the north parking lot of the church, adjacent to the main auditorium.

The entry fee includes a ¼ zip pullover long-sleeved tech shirt to the first 200 registrants and long sleeved cotton tees to registrants 201-800. Sizes are guaranteed if you register prior to November 3, 2022. There will be plenty of food and refreshments, complete computerized race results available online, and race photos. Awards will be given to top male and female finishers in the Open Masters (40+), Veterans (50+), and Seniors (60+) categories, as well as the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finisher in each age group

COURSE DESCRIPTION

A flat, fast, loop course with minimal turns. The course is certified to be accurate by USATF #NY12131KL and crosses no major intersections. It begins at the south entrance of First Bible Baptist Church and finishes in the church’s north parking lot. The church is located at 990 Manitou Road (see map).

EARLY START OPTION AVAILABLE

In order to minimize the impact on our community, we are offering an early start option, beginning promptly at 8:30 am, for anyone who would run/walk at a 12 minute pace or slower. This will allow us to reopen affected roads sooner than if everyone started at the same time. Please indicate you will be taking advantage of the early start option on the registration panel along with your predicted pace. A specific bib number series will be used for those taking advantage of this option. The early start runners will begin their race near the Finish Line.

Female: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-79 and 80 & over.

​Winners will be determined based upon combined times: Husband/Wife, Father/Son, Father/Daughter, Mother/Daughter, Mother/Son, Brother/Sister, Brother/Brother,  Sister/Sister, and 3-Generations (not gender specific). One partner per person except in the 3-Generations category.
