Event Description
Get ready for our Main Street Classic Run/Walk for the Homeless on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Storey Square in beautiful downtown Uniontown hosted by City Mission-Living Stones, Inc!! We are very excited to once again engage with family and friends for our 5K!! As some may already know, our race course begins and ends at Storey Square to include a portion of the beautiful Sheepskin Trail. As in past years, our Main Street Classic 5k will be professionally times by SERJ Racing Services. Our 5K race is a very healthy, fun-filled event event that includes a Commemorative Race Shirt, Kiddie Race, and many activities for kids, awards, refreshments, music, prizes, a basket auction, and much more!!!
For those who are unable to attend our live 5K event on August 20th, we will be holding our 5K race virtually and virtual participation is available beginning on Saturday, August 14, 2022 to August 21, 2022.

2022 RACE INFO:
MAIN STREET CLASSIC 5K RUN/WALK FOR THE HOMELESS
Date: Saturday, August 20, 2022
Place: Storey Square
Cost: $30 through August 19, 2022; $35 on race day (August 20, 2022)
2022 Main Street Classic:
RaceDay Registration: 7:00 AM
Start Time: 9:00 AM
Course: The race begins and ends at Storey Square. The 5K course is primarily flat with two very small bump-ups spread out evenly within the 3.1 mile course. (Mile markers at each mile.)
Running & Walking Categories: 4 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and up.
MAIN STREET CLASSIC 5K RUN/WALK FOR THE HOMELESS (VIRTUAL 5K)
Date: August 14, 2022 to August 21, 2022 (one week)
Place: Anywhere – Comfort of your own home or even a local outdoor trail!!!
Cost: $30
Shipping: T-shirts will be mailed out Priority Mail beginning the week of August 14th. Cost to ship Priority Mail is $10. Cost will be applied to your total when you register. In-person pick up is also available on August 14th from 9AM to 4PM at 155 North Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, PA 15401.
Virtual Run Safety Tips:
*Please be aware of your surroundings and use crosswalks when crossing roads and look both ways. Obey normal traffic laws.
*Plan for your run. Water fountains or sources may not be available along your route, so plan accordingly.
*Bring ID in case of emergency.
*Notify someone when you start your run and then when you are done. Let them know where you are running.
*If listening to music, only use one earbud and leave the other ear open to listen for potential hazards.
*Check the weather for the time you plan on running.
*Wear bright or reflective clothing.
*Call 911 with any emergency right away.
*Lastly, and most importantly, use common sense and listen to your body – don’t overdo it!!

Date & Time: Saturday, August 20, 2022; 8:30 AM
Place: Storey Square
Cost: $12.00
Course: Kids will run the distance around two city blocks.
BASKET AUCTION:
Our Basket Auction will be held during our 5K event. Tickets will be available to purchase with your online race registration (tickets purchased will be at our race registration table on race day). Price of tickets are $10 for 10 tickets. Pay online today for your chance to win fabulous prizes!!
