Event Description

Alexei is loved by many, and his loss is felt every day. His son is now 4 and he talks about "Papa Lyosha" all the time. "Papa Lyosha" buys him ice cream. "Papa Lyosha" teaches him to bike. "Papa Lyosha" takes him to places. Are these stories made up? I don't know but I choose to believe they are not. I choose to believe Alexei and Daniel find ways to connect and be together. In dreams. In thoughts. In memories.

I also desperately want to keep Alexei alive in our words and actions. One way to do this is to keep our tradition and run for Alexei to honor his life. Last year friends and family walked, ran, and biked for Alexei in Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin, Washington DC, Canada and Germany. I hope this year you will too!

Join our virtual event as we promote healthy lifestyles and move for a good cause. You may walk, run or bike anywhere and anytime between September 25 - October 2 of 2022. 

This year we are raising funds for Chris Lantos Foundation. The Chris Lantos Foundation was created in memory of Chris Lantos by his parents. Chris was a 12-year-old boy who died of cancer.
