Event Description

Join us for this fun PADDLE - PEDAL - POUND event for athletes of any level!

The course starts at the Oakland Boat Landing on Messalonskee Lake, where participants will begin their first leg, paddling 2.5 miles out and back around the first island you come to. Once back at the boat landing, transition to your bicycle and pedal 12 miles on paved roads through town, out along Messalonskee Stream and past beautiful rural Maine lands. Transitioning again at the boat landing, participants finish the race with a 3.1-mile run on paved roads, sidewalks and trail.  A great way to see amazing Oakland!

A free kids' fun run starts at 8 a.m. Preregistration is not required.

The first wave for the triathlon begins at 8:30 a.m.

Register by July 10 to guarantee a t-shirt.

Awards to the first individual male and female finishers, as well as to the top teams.

Our past events have been a huge success and we are excited about growing this fun race!
