Event Description
Join us for a morning of exercise in one of the most beautiful places in Central Montana! This race is part of an exciting lineup of events during Hobson's Fun Day on July 23, 2022! We will host both a 5K and 1-mile race. Walk or run! Proceeds will benefit the Hobson Community Center.
Race Course:
- 5K: Start at Hobson School parking lot, run south to Second Ave E/Blackbull Rd, then west on Bullhaven Rd, then north on Ackley Lake Rd, and finally head east on Utica Hwy and finish at the Hobson School parking lot.
- First 1.5 miles are gravel county road; last 1.5 miles are pavement.
- 1 Mile: same route, just 1/3 the distance! Start at Hobson School parking lot, run 0.5 miles up race course, then turn around and run back.
- All gravel county road.

Prizes: Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers in each division (Kids 0-12, Teens 13-17, Adult 18+) for each race.
Shirts: Short sleeve, tri-blend t-shirts are included in the registration fee. PLEASE BE SURE TO REGISTER BY JULY 12 TO GUARANTEE A SHIRT ON RACE DAY. REGISTRATION PRICES WILL INCREASE BY $10 ON JULY 13 TO ACCOMODATE SHIPPING FEES. Please arrive 15-30 minutes early to get your bib and shirt.
Water: aid stations at the start/finish and at the half-way point of each race will be available.
Food: light snacks will be provided at the finish line!
Medical: we will have a local EMT on-site for any emergencies that may arise.
Results: races will be hand-timed. Watch the Hobson Montana Community Facebook page for a listing of times after the race.
Email: watch for an email 2-4 days before the start of the race to finalize last-minute details.
