Event Description

Run Orange County’s Turkey Trot 5K.  This is a family-friendly event that has something for everyone.  Choose your own course tactics: Run fast, jog, trot, walk, or enjoy a nice stroll on this flat scenic course.  You’re welcome to come dressed in a theme or in running attire.  It’s your choice how to celebrate.  It’s your Turkey Trot!  Bikes and strollers are okay for the kids (but please line up at the back of the pack for the start).  This will be a picture-perfect way to start celebrating THANKSGIVING DAY! 

All 5K participants will receive:

• Custom OC Turkey Trot finisher medal
• Festive Turkey Trot Shirt
• Pumpkin pie at the finish line
• Professionally chip timed event
• Plenty of refreshments
• On-course aid station

Gobble Wobble Events

5K Run/Walk - Starts at 8 am

There will be plenty of fun for the kids.  They can run the 5K with the family or participate in their own event: 

9:15 A.M:  Diaper Dash - 50 yards (3 and under)
9:20 A.M:  Tot Trot  - 100 yards (4 to 5 years old)
9:25 A.M: Youth Race -1/4 Mile (6 to 10 years old)
9:28 A.M: Youth Race - Half Mile (11 to 12 years old)
**The 5K starts at 8:00 A.M

There will be plenty of fun for the kids. They all receive a race bib, custom cast medal and tshirt. These kiddie races are for fun and have no timing or awards.  We will start lining the kids up at 9:05

Awards

Professional Chip timing and results for all 5k participants. Age Division awards will be given 3 deep in the following age categories: 1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,55-59 60-64, 65-69, 70-over.

Costume Awards will be given for Best Dressed so come decked out and you may take home a prize! Win as an individual or a group (6 people max)!

Packet Pick Up:
Packet Pick up will be held on Wednesday, November 22nd from 12pm to 6pm at Road Runner Sports in Laguna Hills.
24291 Avenida De La Carlota; Suite P-5; Laguna Hills, CA 92653 Participants can pick up their parking pass for $5 or sign up for the race. Late registration fee's will apply.

Race Day Pick Up:
You may pick up your race bib and t-shirt on race day from 6:30 am to 7:30 am. 

Parking:  Cost is $5.  Entrance is only allowed on Jeffrey.  All other campus entrances will be closed.  MAP
