Event Description

October 23, 2022, marks the 25th Annual LA Cancer Challenge 5K Walk/Run, the signature fundraising event of the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research. Held on the beautiful campus of UCLA where much of the foundation’s research is conducted, the Foundation will commemorate 25 years of uniting generations, young and old, through physical fitness and creating public awareness to raise much-needed funds for pancreatic cancer research. At the heart of the LACC, which has raised over $9.6 million to date, there is a dedicated community that has championed this cause, celebrated survivors, and honored loved ones every year.

The LACC is So Cal’s best Halloween-themed fitness event includes a Fit Family Expo with food & beverage booths, activity tents, a stage with a huge video screen, a Candyland Kids Zone, and more. In-Person registration includes a chip-timed event, commemorative t-shirt, and custom runner’s bib. Custom winners’ medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in the 5K. In addition to medals, overall 1st - 3rd place male & female winners for the 5K will receive prizes.
