Event Description

We are excited to host our 2nd Annual Miles for Mentorship event to support Big Brothers Big Sisters Michigan Capital Region’s mission to ignite the promise and power of youth! Miles for Mentorship is an outdoor, walk or run 5K. The course begins at Sharp Park and the course will follow the beautiful East-West Trail in Delta Township, and through adjacent neighborhood- without ever leaving the trail or sidewalks! Proceeds to this event help support the agency’s mission to create 1-to-1 mentoring relationships so that all youth achieve their full potential!  

Pricing: $25 until 9/04. $30 from 9/05 to 10/09. $35 10/10 to 10/15. Shirts are guaranteed with registrations thru 9/04. There is no race day registration. Online registration will remain open until 10/15.

Family/Group pricing: $5 discount per participant when registering 3 or more people at the same time. The discount is automatically applied during checkout when you select multi-person pricing.

Early Packet pickup: TBD

Race day packet pickup: Will begin at 8:30 am at the race location.

Get a cool race t-shirt: T-shirt is guaranteed with paid registration by end of day 9/04.  We are offering youth sizes small thru large, women sizes small thru XXL, and Men's size small thru XXL. (Extra t-shirts will be ordered and available for pick up on the day of the race, sizes are not guaranteed after 9/04.) 

All finishers will receive a water bottle!

T-shirts and Water Bottles will not be mailed to Virtual Participants, please make arrangements to pick up at the office.

Awards: Age group awards to Male and Female, Under 9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

Schedule: Race starts at 10:00 am.
