Event Description

The L.A. River Ride is the signature event of Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition, the only non-profit organization working to make all communities in L.A. County healthy, safe, and fun places to ride bikes.

This year offer 10 different routes, with a start in Griffith Park and another in Long Beach.

Choose from 7 different rides starting at the Autry in Griffith Park: 100-mile, 70-mile, 50-mile, 36-mile, 25-mile, and 15-mile rides, plus the First 5 LA Kids' Safety Festival and Ride.

Choose from 3 different rides starting at Marina Green Park in Long Beach: 100-mile, 70-mile, and 25-mile rides.

Kids 12 and under ride, and a family rate is available for the 15-mile ride thanks to First 5 LA.

Event details and schedule

The course is mainly flat as it runs along the river bed. See the River's natural flora and fauna and beautiful River side parks all along the way. The ride also takes you through historic L.A. neighborhoods.  

Recharge at pit stops with great food and join us for the post ride festival including drinks and more grub whilst browsing the expo booths. We have live music, prizes, t-shirts, medals, jerseys for purchase, and more!

The Autry & Long Beach 100-mile centuryride registration opens at 6 a.m.; rides at 7 a.m.

The Autry & Long Beach 70-Mile ride registration opens at 7 a.m.; rides at 7:45 a.m.

The Autry 50-Mile ride registration opens at 7 a.m.; rides at 8 a.m.

The Autry 36-Mile ride registration opens at 7:30 a.m.; rides at 8:30 a.m.

The Autry & Long Beach 25-Mile ride registration opens at 7:45 a.m.; rides at 8:45 a.m.

The Autry 15-Mile ride registration opens at  9:30 a.m.; rides at 10:30 a.m.

The Autry First 5 LA Kids' Safety Festival & Ride Registration opens at 8 am; festivites end at 11 a.m.
