About Audax events:
The Audax brevet format goes back to the early days of randonneuring. In this format, riders ride together at a fixed pace under leadership of one or more captains, and stops, both brief stops and sit down meals, have prescribed venues and a timed schedule. . . .

Randonneuring—non-competitive, long-distance cycling, where you follow a pre-planned route and attempt to finish within a set time-limit—is a great way to test your endurance, navigational skills, and fortitude.
On this Century-Plus-23-mile ride, you'll tour some scenic and rural parts of New Jersey on a mostly flat route. There will be a group sit-down lunch at the half-way point. Time Limit =13.5 Hours. Visit njrandonneurs.org for more information, including route map and cue-sheet as they become available. Finish within 13.5 hours and you've qualified to call yourself a Randonneur!
Please Note: It is possible for riders to be out on the route beyond sunset. For those riders, lighting and reflective gear are required.
Please refer to the Rules for Lighting and Guidelines on Reflectivity
