Event Description

Experience Florida's premier endurance event and the oldest independent full distance triathlon in North America, the AdventHealth Great Floridian Triathlon at the World Triathlon Destination at Waterfront Park in Clermont.  Celebrating it's 32nd year, the GFT features three distances, the Ultra Distance (140.6 mi), the Half Distance (73.3 mi), and the Sprint Distance. In addition we also offer two Relay Options (2-3 People) & (6 People for Ultra only) and 2-3 people for Half Distances. An Aqua Bike for the Ultra and Half Distances, a Half Distance Duathlon, and new this year a Sprint Aquathlon and a Half Marathon Sunset Run (starts at 6:30pm so come back and join us for a run if you do one of our shorter tri's! or a morning swim), as well as a 1.2 & 2.4 mile Swim.
