Event Description
The Baby Buggy Walk is an event originated by Baltimore Healthy Start in 2012. The event is trademarked and designed to be held annually during the month of September in recognition of Infant Mortality Awareness Month.
This community event brings together families and children from across the city to participate in a signature 1.5 mile walk. Other festival activities include games, crafts, breast feeding tent for moms, health and wellness screenings, raffles for baby items and vendors with free resources for families. All registered walkers receive a Baby Buggy Walk Tshirt.
Event details and schedule
The event will take place on September 17, 2022 at Patterson Park. Please enter the park at the corner of Linwood and Eastern Avenue. Please visit the registration table when you arrive. Upon check in you will recieve your tshirt and additional event information. We will start at the Pulaski Monument. The Walk starts at 11:00 with a welcome from platform guests and pre walk warm up for families. The walk is a 1.5 mile track through Patterson. Boxed Lunches will be provided at the end of the walk. Families are welcomed to visit vendor tables at any time during the event.
