The fun festive spirit of The Hustle, a 1-mile run/walk, 5k, and 10k attracts man woman, and child. Serious and non-serious runners are encouraged to attend and participate! The energizing atmosphere, crushed limestone trail, ideal running conditions, crowds of cheering spectators, and a classic T-shirt make this THE RACE to attend. ALL proceeds benefit Raymond Central's Food Bank BackPack program.
All participants will receive a classic HUSTLE t-shirt IF REGISTERED BY OCTOBER 1! The top finishing males and females in the following age groups 29 and under, 30-49, 50 and over in the 10k and 5k will receive awards. The top 3 finishing males and females will be awarded in the 1-mile (Must be 18 or younger to win an award, but ALL age groups can participate in the 1-mile run/walk.)
Packet pick-up is Friday, October 14 from 6 PM-8 PM at the Raymond Central High School football field or the morning of the race 8-8:30 AM at the Oak Creek Trailhead in Valparaiso NE. Note, Friday, October 14 is Homecoming, there will be additional traffic!
Late registrations will be accepted the day of the race from 8-8:30 AM This does not include a t-shirt. Therefore, early registration is highly encouraged!
In addition, a pancake feed will be held from 9 AM-11 AM at the Valparaiso Fire Station located just one block east of the finish line! Prizes will be awarded at the Fire Station and other drawings and giveaways! You must be present to win!

1-mile fun run/walk will begin at 9:20 AM
Parking is available at the event site just north of the trailhead; additional parking will be available along 2nd Street.
Runners, please plan on arriving at 8 AM to pick up packets if you cannot pick them up Friday evening.
The trail is a scenic crushed limestone trail that meanders through the beautiful countryside of Saunders County. The trail is wide and partially shaded. The trail will be marked at the turnaround points for each individual race .5 mile, 2.5k, and 5k.
