The California Youth Triathlon
This race is sanctioned by USA Triathlon and will feature official race courses for Youth & Junior Elite Divisions looking to qualify for USAT Nationals.

The California Youth Triathlon
Sanctioned by USA Triathlon, the new California Youth Triathlon will feature official Youth and Junior Elite divisions with separate courses.
Athletes will receive a custom Hydration Bottle, plus a post race lunch and have a chance for individual division awards.
Race Distances
750 meter Swim - 11 mile Bike - 3 mile Run
Junior Elite 16-17 & 18 yr olds.
300 meter Swim - 5 mile Bike - 2 mile Run
Youth 13-15 yr olds.
200 meter Swim - 5 mile Bike - 2 mile Run
Youth 11-12 yr olds.
100 meter Swim - 3 mile Bike - 1 mile Run
Youth 7-10 yr olds.
The races start from Granite Beach in Folsom Lake SRA, where the water will be approximately 64 degrees. Wetsuits are recommended, not required.

Rules and Regulations
Athletes must be registered with USA Triathlon. Wetsuits are recommended for the Triathlon. Swim fins and snorkels are not allowed. Helmets must be worn and buckled on the bike at all times. Run numbers must be worn on the run and when crossing the finish line. Listening devices of any kind: MP3, IPod, headphones, etc... are not allowed.
TBF Racing has a No Refund policy on all of our events. A Refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus a $25 processing fee. Credits are not given during race week. Race transfers are allowed from one TBF Racing event to another within a one-year time frame. There is a $25 transfer fee. Participant transfers are allowed for this event, with a $15 fee. Transfers are not allowed during race week. ALL TBF Racing events are held Rain or Shine.
