Event Description

This Novemeber 19, 2022 13.1 extreme Eco-Trail run on Santa Cruz Island is a Wilderness run from sea level @ Santa Cruz Island's Prisoners Cove, up through the island highlands, peaks, valleys and mountains, then Shamrock style looping back to Prisoner's Cove. This course offers the best of the National Park. The number of entries are highly regulated by the National Park Service Those that have run before? Hailed it as the most unique wilderness run in the Pacific.  Our private Island Packers boat ride out and back is a blast, we see so many whales and dolphins.

This run is not suitable for trail walkers or first time runners. It is a challenging extreme run with a wilderness setting. There are areas of steep single track that have to be walked even by the best.

We have a great complimentary after party lunch on the island. Past runners overwhelming tell us this is the most remote and scenic run availble on the west coast of the USA.

This is a full non-profit event and your entry helps our Sheriff's Volunteer Search and Rescue Unit and also vulnerable Ventura County youth by supporting our Sheriff's Department Safe Passage youth centers while promoting community health and fitness. Thus, there are no refunds or flipping your entry to others (excpet by paying a $200 transfer fee) . If we get rained out or any otherevent out of our control such as;  natural disaster, COVID, NPS Cancels our permit, laws change, Island Packers, weather or health issue or such, your money will still be used for 100%  non profit, take the donation tax write off,  and we thank you. We will make every attempt to refund up to 90% of your entry if we haev to cancel the race for any reason listed above. There is not a planned back up date. Nada.... We have never been rained out but always be prepared for that.

THIS RACE OFTEN FILLS ON DAY ONE OF OPEN REGISTRATION.
