Welcome To The Run For Rwanda 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run
When you hit the pavement on October 22nd, you’ll be running for the Clean Water Cause and the people of Rwanda! It will be both exciting and fulfilling to complete the race and know your effort helped to bring clean, safe drinking water to those who need it most.
New in 2022, we have both in-person and virtual opportunities to participate in the Run For Rwanda. That means even if you are not local to the Run For Rwanda in Parsippany, New Jersey, you can still support the clean water cause from anywhere in the world! For virtual participants, please note that registration closes on Sunday, October 9th
Invite family and friends to participate - they can run, walk or stroll. Or they can always serve as your personal cheering section - not only will they have fun encouraging you along the way - they’ll enjoy our expo and indoor funtivities for kids. See you at the starting line!

Information
- Run for Rwanda is a 5K or 1 mile, chip-timed, run/walk race that will take place on the wide open roads surrounding Liquid Church’s office in Parsippany, New Jersey.
- Enjoyable for all ages. Walkers welcome!
- Baby strollers are allowed, but we ask participants with strollers to please start near the back of the group to avoid obstructing other runners.
- There will be two water stations at the first and second-mile points.
- The race is a rain or shine event.
Virtual Runner
Not local to the run but want to support the clean water cause? New in 2022, we invite you to participate in our virtual race option so you can participate in the 5k from anywhere in the world!
As a participant in the virtual Run For Rwanda 5k, you will receive a race kit in the mail prior to race day on Saturday, October 22nd. Please note that virtual registration closes two weeks prior to the event on Sunday, October 9th.

- Racers 12 years of age and under may participate in the 5k race or the 1 mile fun run for $5

Bib pick-up
- Available for all participants on Wednesday, Oct 19th, and Thursday, Oct 20th from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Liquid Church located at 299 Webro Road, Parsippany, NJ 07054.
- Race Kits will be mailed to virtual racers on Thursday, Oct 13th

Awards & Amenities
Awards will be given to the top three participants in each age group (14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60, and over).
5K race participants will receive a dri-fit race shirt, timing bib, race hip bag, and finishers medal.
1 Mile Fun Run participants will receive a dri-fit race shirt, timing bib, and finishers medal.
Registered racers 12 years and under will receive a timing bib and finishers medal.
Awards will be given to the top three participants in each age group (14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60, and over).
5K race participants will receive a dri-fit race shirt, timing bib, race hip bag, and finishers medal.
1 Mile Fun Run participants will receive a dri-fit race shirt, timing bib, and finishers medal.
Registered racers 12 years and under will receive a timing bib and finishers medal.

Parking will be available onsite and in the surrounding area. A parking team member will guide you to available parking.

Refund Policy
This event follows the standard running industry policy: All entry fees are non-refundable. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control such as a natural disaster or emergency or as required to protect the safety of participants and staff. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances. We reserve the right to change the details of the event without prior notice. I understand that my entry fee is nonrefundable and bib numbers are non transferable. In addition, this includes circumstances such as Force Majeure and an Act of God which causes the event to be cancelled or your registration to be transferred to a Virtual entrant with no refund. Should you wish to convert your registration to a virtual one, please let us know before October 9th
