Event Description
Kids R’ Giants (KRG) is a therapeutic behavior support program in Corona, California. We utilize evidence-based, cognitive-behavioral model therapeutic programs to help troubled children and their caregivers learn how to effectively manage their emotions and overcome their traumas. Experienced and highly trained staff work with each child and their family to assess challenges and problems and develop an action plan. Children and families may participate in KRG programs to prevent future antisocial behavior and reduce the chances of conflict with family, peers, and authority figures. As social and behavioral experts, our mission is to teach children and parents how to manage certain behaviors in a way that allows children to grow into successful, emotionally intelligent, and independent adults.
Our 2nd annual 5K run is a hybrid event, taking place in person (in Corona, CA on Saturday, November 11th) and virtually around the country. Participants will come together to raise awareness of mental health issues in children and help support the mission of Kids R’ Giants. In person attendees will also have the opportunity to look around our Community Health Village to learn from sponsors about mental health and wellness for children, and have access to various health screens.

Event Date: Saturday, November 11th
Event Location: The Shops at Dos Lagos in Corona, CA (or virtual locations around the country)
Event Options: Adult 5K or Kids' fun run
Registration Costs: Adult 5K $35 includes event t-shirt, Kids' fun run $10 includes t-shirt
EVENT DAY TIMELINE:
7:30am : Check-in & day of registration opens
8:00am : Welcome presentation & Community Health Village opens
8:30am : 5K start time
9:30am : Kids' 1 lap fun run start time
12:30pm: Event ends
FUNDRAISING:
Fundraising is NOT required but IS appreciated! Any participant who also registers as a fundraiser and raises a minimum of $100 will receive a one-of-a-kind Inaugural 5K medal for the event. That's as easy as asking 5 friends and 5 family members to donate just $10! All donations are tax-deductible and go towards the Kids R' Giant mission to provide the highest quality and compassionate behavioral modification services for children and their families.
