Event Description

Help feed the hungry and run/walk for a great cause.  Each participant is asked to bring one can of food to the registration table.  This food will be donated to the Good Samaritan Center.  Your contribution will make someone's holiday very special. 

Proceeds to Wayne County High School's Work-Based Learning Program & donated food items will go to the Good Samaritan Center.

Event details and schedule

Event:  Registration will begin at 7 AM.  The 5K Run/Walk will begin at 8 AM.

Entry Fee:  $25 if postmarked by 11/03/2022 or $30 after 11/03/2022 and day of race. Group team registration is available for groups of 10-15 runners at $20 per person. Teams must be prepaid by 11/03/2022 to receive discount and team roster must be mailed with payment to WCHS. Registration forms can also be picked up at Wayne County High School, Jesup, GA or at Velocity Health & Fitness, Jesup, GA.

5K Course/1-Mile Course:  flat course starting and finishing at Jaycee Stadium, 1355 W. Orange St., Jesup, GA 31545.  All runners will be timed.

T-Shirts:  short sleeved t-shirts will be guaranteed to all pre-registered runners.

Awards:  ceremony will be held immediately after the 5K Run/Walk. In the 5K, awards are given in the following age categories:  overall male/female, masters male/female, also the top three in each age group "10 & Under", "11 to 19", then in 10 year age ranges up to 70 & over will receive an award.

What to bring? Please remember to bring one can of food to the registration table.  All food items will be donated to the Good Samaritan Center.
