The 1st Annual 5K Fun Run & Walk to Changing Lives & Semper Fi Service Dogs Jingle Bell Jog! Run to Change a Life, Run to Change a Community is great for all ages!
Saturday December 2nd,2023 Event starts at 8:00 am Race Day Packet Pick Up starts at 7:00 am
There will be a Packet Pickup the week of the event at the Changing Lives Office at 1000 N Dixie Hwy, Boca Raton Days and Times TBD
We invite you to join us in our “1st Annual 5K Fun Run & Walk to Change Lives”. This run/walk will further advance our organization’s goals of providing a continuum of care for our client’s and developing additional services to help them return to independent and self-sustaining living. Homelessness is not only one of the most critical problems facing our country, it is also one of the most misunderstood. Changing Lives is dedicated to providing our clients a hand up and not a hand-out. We need the participation from the members of the community to realize this event. We ask you, please to respond to our appeal for the upcoming fun run & walk by becoming a sponsor, signing up for the run and inviting your family, friends, and associates. It will be a fun-filled day with a cause.
The homeless and underprivileged portion of our population is growing dramatically every day and nearly four in ten (40%) are living in unsheltered locations such as on the street, in abandoned buildings, or in other places not suitable for human habitation. Together we can Change the lives of the people that need help the most.

Established in 2019, Changing Lives provides programs and services for the underprivileged population in need of assistance. Our services are provided by volunteer citizens of our community at large. WHO WE ARE: Changing Lives is dedicated to enriching the lives of homeless women, men and children in the South County community and other local communities. Our organization offers basic needs resources, health and wellness referrals, sobriety counseling and housing, mentorship, employment placement and more. Our goal is to meet immediate basic needs and provide access to transitional services that support individuals’ return to independent and self-sustaining living.
What We Do: Changing Lives is committed to provide the following support and resources:
Transitional housing and immediate emergency housing/shelter
Access to drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers
Mental health counseling
Referrals, transportation and scholarships for job and vocational training programs
Grants for small business start-ups
Food, clothes, toiletries, hot showers, haircuts
Assistance with applications for Governmental subsidies
Food stamp applications
Family reunification
