Event Description

Gather two or more of your friends for this enjoyable 15k Relay event in the beautiful, quaint community of Stone Island Estates, just minutes north of Lake Mary/Sanford, Florida. Each relay runner will run the same 5k course and will have their 5k times recorded via chip timing. Awards will be given to top Relay teams in the divisions specified.  Or walk/run a solo non-competitive 5k and enjoy the same course. 

Beneficiary - The goals of the CurePSP Foundation are to assist patients and their families, increase public awareness, educate healthcare professionals, and support research toward better diagnosis, effective treatments, and eventual cures. Progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) is a neurodegenerative brain disease that has no known cause, treatment or cure. It affects nerve cells that control walking, balance, mobility, vision, speech, and swallowing. Five to six people per 100,000 will develop PSP.

Race Schedule
6:15am – 7:15am: Race Day Registration
7:30am: 15K Relay and 5K start together
9:00am: Free Kids Dash
9:30am: 15k Relay Awards Ceremony

15K Relay Awards
Awards will be given to ALL teammates of the 15K Relay in the following categories:
Student: Top team with mixed genders, age 18 and under
Adult Mixed: Top team with mixed ages and genders
All Women: Top Team of all female runners, mixed ages
All Men: Top Team of all male runners, mixed ages
Masters Women’s: Top Team of all female runners age 40 and over
Masters Men’s: Top Team of all male runners age 40 and over
