Huc-a-poos and the Hall family invite you to the 14th annual Pickle Run to support our local Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire!
Fifteen years ago, despite a healthy pregnancy, Dylan Hall was so sick at birth the doctors weren’t sure he would survive his first night. Two days later on Thanksgiving Day, mom and dad could hold their baby boy for the first time. As Dylan continued to improve in the hospital, the Hall family discovered how lucky they were to live in Savannah where the level of care their baby required was just down the street. Many of the families had to drive long distances to visit their children in the NICU or Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery. This is where the Ronald McDonald House® comes in. Established in 1987, the Savannah Ronald McDonald House has provided a “home away from home” for more than 5,000 families. The House has 13 bedrooms with private baths, a communal living room and kitchen, dining and laundry areas. Each night volunteers provide a home-cooked meal for the families to share.
As Dylan's first birthday approached and each year since, the Halls get together with the Huc-a-poos family to celebrate, give thanks and raise funds for this important organization in our community!
Event details and schedule
What: 5k beach & road run or walk
Where: Starts and ends @ HUC-A-POO’S, 1213 E. Highway 80, Tybee Island
When: 8:00 am on Saturday, Nov. 26 (Packet pick-up begins at 7:00 am)
Why: All proceeds benefit our local Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire

Late Registration: $40 Limited to 150 online registrations
