Event Description

48th Annual running of this popular small town event!

2.6 mile (mostly downhill) one way mini-marathon along the route of the Western Days 4th of July Parade.  Course starts at the City Hall in Monmouth, OR and ends at the Independence Library in Independence, OR. The elevation drop from start to finish is 47 feet.

Race Entry Fees:

Ages 9 and Under: $5 until June 30.
Ages 10 and Up: $15 until June 30.

July 3rd 11am - 6pm @  Anytime Fitness - 1369 Monmouth St. Independence, OR 

July 4th 7am - 11:15am @ Monmouth Fitness Club - 165 E Main St. Monmouth, OR

In person & Day of Race Registration 

July 3rd 11am - 6pm @ Anytime Fitness 1369 Monmouth St, Independence OR 

July 4th 8:00am to 10:30am (sharp) @ 151 Main St. W. Monmouth, OR (behind city hall)

Awards

Overall winners and age group winners will be announced online and in the Itemizer-Observer Newspaper following the event.  No awards ceremony at the finish line in order to accommodate Western Days Parade.  Results will be printed/posted at the finish line.
