In 2026, we look forward to returning to DCR Fort Independence at Castle Island to celebrate Veterans Day weekend together on November 7 for the 11th Annual DAV 5K Boston! Race with us on one of the "fastest and flattest" race courses and stay for our famous "post-race feast" in South Boston. #VetsRunBoston

The DAV 5K Boston Features 3 Separate Starts:

• DAV 5K Roll: Hand cycle and Wheelchair
• DAV 5K Run/Walk
• DAV 1 Mile Walk

The DAV 5K Boston Features: 

• Flat and fast course around Castle Island
• Scenic views of Boston and Boston Harbor from Pleasure Bay
• DAV Honor Guard procession to the start
• Vendor village with product sampling inside For Independence 
• Awards ceremony with great prizes

Registration fee includes a long sleeve runner shirt, a finisher medal and access to the post-race celebration. All proceeds support the DAV.
