Event Description

Fort Bliss Sports, Fitness & Aquatics, joined by US Army Survivor Outreach Services, will be hosting a memorial run in order to pay tribute to our fallen soldiers. The annual Run For The Fallen is a 5K run or 1 mile walk that you do not want to miss. There will be a ceremony with guest speakers that will take place before the run, free entertainment provided by the US Army band, and jump houses will be available for the kids. 

Non DOD ID Card holders will need to obtain a recreational pass prior to the event to gain access to the installation. Information on how to obtain a recreational pass can be found here https://bliss.armymwr.com/happenings/fort-bliss-recreational-pass

IMPORTANT: Please DO NOT wait until the day of the event to obtain your recreational pass, get yours today! Those waiting until the day of the event will experience long lines and may face delayed entrance to the event. Recreational passes are good for 1 year so you can join us for other great events coming up.

Please remember that all minors participating in the event must have a waiver signed by a parent.

Children in strollers are free of charge and no registration is required. They will not receive a bib or shirt.

Additional shirts are available for purchase during packet pick up and race day.
