World Equestrian Center – Ocala Tinsel Trot 5K Run and Walk
Saturday, December 3, 2022
Race Start: 6pm
Join us at World Equestrian Center for the Tinsel Trot 5K Run and Walk. Lace up your running shoes and deck yourself out in your brightest holiday gear for the Tinsel Trot 5K Run and Walk starting at 6pm. This timed evening race loops around the WEC property for 3.1 miles of holiday spirit. The professionally designed race course is open to all ages and will feature festive holiday entertainment, like stilt walkers and superheroes along the way. Stay for Winter Wonderland taking place in the Grand Plaza.
Registration
- Online registration is $30 (processing fee additional).
- Online registration closes Friday, December 2 at midnight.
- Registration on race day (Saturday, December 3) is $40.
- If registered by November 22, shirt sizes are guaranteed.
- First 1,000 registrations will receive race shirt and finisher medals.
- If race surpasses 1,000 registrations, registration website will notify participants prior to completing entry.
Race participants with advanced registration in-hand are exempt from the Winter Wonderland parking fee. Does not apply to day-of entries.
Packet Pickup
- Early packet pickup is Friday, December 2 from 3pm-5pm inside Running Elements: 29 NE 1st Ave. St. E, Ocala FL 34470
- Day-of packet pickup is Saturday, December 3 from 4pm-6pm at World Equestrian Center – Ocala at the Running Elements tent near The Equestrian Hotel by Emma’s Patisserie.

Day of packet pickup is Saturday Dec 4th at World Equestrian Center from 4-6pm
Will there be results posted at the race?
Printed results can be found near finish line. Results are also available online, on this website, at the conclusion of the event.
Are dogs/animals allowed to participate in this event?
No. As much as we love our pets too, the safety of participants is our main concern. Pets are not allowed on this run/walk.
Should I bring my own water?
YES!! Please plan to carry your own water or hydration. We encourage renewable and sustainable methods of water distribution at events to reduce our litter impact. We will have water bottles available.
How much does it cost?
Early registration is $30 per person. There is an online processing fee and taxes added at checkout.
In person registration on Dec 4th is $40
Once race items are sold out, at 1000 participants, there will be a $20 option to participate in the 5k. $20 entries will NOT receive any race items: shirt, medal, nor custom bib.
Registration fees are non-refundable. We have a strict No Transfer policy.
Will the race be held if it's raining?
The race is a "rain or shine" event. All participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather.

Parking is available along the front of The World Equestrian Center. There is plenty of availability.
