Event Description

Come out for a fun relaxed evening of a non-competitive fun run/walk.  This years event is talking place in May which is Mental health awareness month and we are running at dusk to light up the scene with glow sticks as we run/walk through the surrounding neighborhoods and on East's campus to spread awareness for mental health.

You are welcome to join us after for after race snack and a community bonfire to promote socialization and positivitity of the connection that physical activity has on our mental well being.  We play to have local sponsors at the event that can be resources in both aspects of health as resources for people to reach to when in need.

Event details and schedule

Registration from 6-7:20pm

Please arrive 30 min prior to Race start time to allow for proper warm up and pre- race specifications.

Run/walk course will be on campus as well as the surrounding neighborhoods of South Lyon East High school (We will not be on any main roads, and will not be crossing 10 mile).

Please park in the student athletic parking area near the auditorium/ softball fields/ tennis courts

Dress for the weather, bring any additional lighting (Flashlight, headlamp).  Ee will have some Glow sticks at registration pick up.

Bring extra clothes for the remainder of the evening for enjoy the bonfire in.
