Tier One Heroes Foundation is excited to announce it's inaugural annual 5k fundraiser.
This 5k is an opportunity to stretch your legs by walking or running with your friends and family to help raise money for the Heroes (First Responders and Military) that serve and protect our communities and our nation. Our goal is for Heroes to be confident in our commitment to not only them, but to their immediate family members should a catastrophe happen during the course of serving and protecting lives.
Tier One Heroes Foundation supports our Heroes and honors the legacy of fallen Heroes, and respectfully provides financial contributions to: Funeral Expenses, College Educational Cost & Merit-based Scholarships, Catastrophic Medical Expenses, and Annual Holiday Gifts.
This event is on March 18, 2023. Shirt and packet pick up will start at 10:00a.m. The race will start at 12:00p.m. at the James Morgan Recreation Sports Complex located at 1208 Turnpike Road, Laurinburg NC 28352 and participants will then travel on Turnpike Road, turn left onto Meadow Brook Drive, Left on Anita Drive, Right on Lake Drive, then a left on Emily Drive, participants will then turn around at the intersection of Emily Drive and Patsy Lane and return to the finish line at the James Morgan Recreation Sports Complex. The turn around point marks half way and a tent will be there with limited water and first aid should anyone need it.
Preregistration will be from now until 02/28/2023 for a rate of $30 and from 03/01/2023 - 03/18/2023 for a rate of $35. Early registration will ensure that a t-shirt and medal will be provided to you on the day of the event. No shirts or medals will be guaranteed if you register after 02/28/2023. Children 7 years of age and under can participate for free, however will not be provided with a t-shirt or medal. Prizes will be provided for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the Men's and Women's category.
We are currently in the process of securing food trucks, bouncy houses and other vendors for the day of the event. If you know of anyone that would like to participate or if you would like to see a particular vendor there, please contact us at HeroesFoundation@tieronefastpitch.com .
*** No pets, bikes or scooters. Baby strollers are welcomed, if applicable. Everyone will be provided with a runner's bib who participates in the race. No shows will forfeit their shirt and registration fee.
