Ft Ebey and The Kettles trail system on Whidbey Island offers over 30 miles of single and double track trails with short steep climbs and lots of technical trails. Mussels in the Kettles lays out routes on these trails so you can come to test your skills. WIBC marks every turn with flagging and arrows so you go in the preferred direction. Mussels in the Kettles is the primary funding for trail work and bicycle advocacy performed by Whidbey Island Bicycle Club. Thank you for participating!

Mussels in the Kettles
The course will be up and available to ride between the hours of 9:30 am and 2 pm on March 4th, 2023.
Courses are marked with Green, Blue, and White flagging, three ribbons per intersection or turn. We also use direction arrows along the course to keep the flow in the right direction on the single track.
Check-in this year is at Coupeville high school gym, pick up your bibs, socks, and fasteners. Once you are ready to ride you will go to the pre-staging area on the North East corner of the building, course opens at 9:30 am.
Mussels in the Kettles will provide any coffee, and water at the starting line. Halfway through the ride, we will have bottles of water and trail bars.
2023 will have no card stations no prizes this year and sorry no homemade cookies.
