All Events are Rain or Shine!
Please pick up your bib and shirt the day before the event, on Saturday, between 10 and 3p at the Running Center in Redlands 1430 Industrial Park Ave., Redlands, CA 92374.
If you can't make it on Saturday you can also come at 6am on Sunday morning but if you come on Saturday you will skip the lines and get to sleep in a few more minutes while also having a chance to pick up some new running gear from The Running Center - check out their store at this link.
The Lopers Club, the City of Loma Linda and Loma Linda University Health present the 34th annual Lopers Club Holiday Classic Half Marathon and 5K! The Holiday Classic is the Inland Empire’s longest running annual holiday running event and a local tradition for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities!
Location The race Start/Finish will take place in front of the Loma Linda Fire Station located at 11325 Loma Linda Dr., Loma Linda, CA 92354. Park in any nearby lot except for the Veteran's Hospital.
Event Information This year’s event will take place on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023. The Half Marathon and 5K will run simultaneously. Start time is 7:00 am. The Start/Finish Line will be located near the corner of Barton Road and Loma Linda Drive, in front of the Loma Linda Fire station.
Event Features The Holiday Classic Half Marathon and 5K run/walk, provides scenic mountain views with stimulating inclines on a course which winds through the lovely streets of Loma Linda. Beautiful, long-sleeved tech shirts will be provided for all participants who register prior to November 19th, 2022. Participants registering after the cutoff will receive a shirt while supplies last. All finishers of both the Half Marathon and the 5K event will be awarded beautiful finishers' medals. Trophies will be awarded to the overall top male and female winner of each race. Division medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female finishers in each of 20 age divisions. Bring the kids! The Holiday Classic includes a ¼ mile Elves Trot fun run for children ages 3-6. Every participating elf will receive an adorable Santa medal.
Post-Race Festivities All participants of the Half Marathon and 5K will receive a free pancake breakfast compliments of the Crossroads Rotary Club of San Bernardino. There is a $3 charge for Elves Trot participants. Also free to all participants, a soothing, post-race mini-massage provided by gentle therapists from Precision in Movement.
Virtual Races Already have plans for December 3rd? No problem, register for the Holiday Classic Virtual Half Marathon or Virtual 5K and run your miles at your convenience from the day you register to the day of the live event (December 3rd, 2023). Participant shirt and Finisher's medal available while supplies last. Participants in the virtual events are not eligible for overall or age division awards.
Groups/Teams Create a team for your family, friends and coworkers to join. Each team participant will get a $5 discount for teams of between 5 and 14 participants. Each participant will get a $10 discount for teams of greater than 15 participants.
Tri-City Challenge The Lopers Club Holiday Classic is proud to be a part of the Tri-City Challenge, do all three events and get a exclusive bonus medal after you complete the third event. You can start with any of the three events but you must do them consecutively.
