Event Description

We recognize Dec. 13 as the birthday of the National Guard. On this date in 1636, the first militia regiments in North America were organized in Massachusetts. Come on and join in honoring this historic event, patriotic organization, and all those who have and are currently serving.

This virtual event won't cost you a dime, just a little of your time. Complete the 16.36-kilometer (walk/run/hike/bike/whatever) and log your time on the honor system back here on the website. For those of you wanting a slightly different challenge, you can tackle this same event, but do the 10.166-mile flavor ;-).
