Have you ever ran on an actual Airport Runway? Join us on March 18th to race on Augusta Regional Airport's runway and taxiway!
Our Second Annual Run the Runway is a sanctioned race designed as a fundraiser for the Augusta based nonprofit, Operation Teammate, an organization that provides memorable sporting experiences to military children through impactful athlete interaction. With our strong military presence in The Augusta River Region, this is the perfect opportunity to come together to support this incredible organization and military children.
Registration is $30.00. Children 8-12 are $25.00. Children 7 and under are $10.00. Children 7 and under will be able to participate in a fun run and will receive a t-shirt as well.

- Packet Pick Up:
- Packet Pick Up and Registration will be available at Fleet Feet located at 229 Furys Ferry Rd #107, Augusta, GA 30907. On March 17th from 10:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.
- Packet includes a tee shirt, bib, pins, and other items.
- Day of packet pick up will not be available.
- Day of Event Details:
- Race Location: Race will be located on Lock and Dam Rd, Augusta GA 30906. Please follow directional signage.
- Parking: Parking will be available first come first served at New Savannah Bluff Lock and Dam Park, 2116 Lock & Dam Rd. Augusta, GA 30906. Overflow parking will be available day of. Golf cart shuttles will be available.
- Start/Finish: The race has a hard start time of 8:00 a.m. The 5k will start and finish at Augusta Regional Airport & Lock and Dam Park. This route will be primarily concrete with some gravel and dirt.
- Other:
- Vendors will be onsite to provide water, fruit, and giveaways.
- Only service animals will be allowed.
- You may run or walk. Strollers and wheelchairs are allowed.
- There is no rain day alternate.
