Event Description
Tall Pines STEM Academy is holding their 3rd Annual TPSA Running with the Wolves 5K on St. Patrick's Day - Friday, March 17th, 2023 in Downtown Aiken - Newberry St. at 6:30pm! At our school we LOVE physical education, fitness and athletics! Proceeds from this race will help support our physical education/athletics program. One thing we are looking into is adding a disc golf course on our campus! Grab your family and friends and let's RUN! BUT WAIT...let's celebrate St. Patrick's Day too! Dress in your best St. Patrick's Day attire! We will award two best dressed and they will receive gift cards to Academy Sports.
At Tall Pines STEM Academy, our mission is to provide an option for families where STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) is intertwined in the school’s culture and prepares middle school students to become the next generation of ethical leaders. Tall Pines STEM Academy provides a combination of classroom and outdoor learning experiences to engage students, promote wellness and physical fitness, inspire creativity, foster critical thinking and problem solving skills, and cultivate citizenship and leadership skills through rigorous and relevant content and projects in a natural setting.
Registration Fees:
5K Chipped Timed - $15.00. After March 13th it will be $20.00.
T-shirts:
T-shirts will be available to participants who register on or before March 1st. T-shirts are not guaranteed to participants who register after March 1st. Extras will be ordered but will be given out on a first come, first serve basis. Sizes include: YM, YL, AS, AM, AL, AXL, AXXL.
Timing/Awards/Race Divisions:
Awards will be given to the overall top male and female finishers as well as the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female finishers in each age division. Age divisions are: 12 and under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-above.

Packet Pick-up/Late Registration:
Runners attending TPSA can pick up their bib/race packet on Thursday, March 16th from 3:30pm - 4:30pm at the TPSA Gymnasium. THIS WILL BE THE ONLY DAY BEFORE RACE PACKET PICK UP.
Race day packet pick up and registration will be from 5:30pm - 6pm.
Registration will close promptly at 6:00pm.
We accept cash, checks and credit.
Village Fitness is at the back of The Village at Woodside.
