Event Description

The McClinchy Mile Camano Climb Bicycle Ride offers scenic and challenging route options of 103, 65, 50, 35 or 15 miles.  Register early - price increases $10 on April 1st. Start training for this hilly but beautiful ride - it will prepare you well for future century rides or STP .  

Maximum 450 riders.

Your commemorative McClinchy bib is your ticket to fresh fruit and snacks at rest stops and gourmet appetizers at SAAL Brewing Company after the ride. Yep - enjoy pork sliders or soyrizo tacos as part of your ride fee. Great beer and cider options are on you.

B.I.K.E.S. Club of Snohomish County and the Stanwood-Camano Kiwanis co-host the event, with 60-plus years of event experience between the two groups. Proceeds support bicycling in Snohomish County and local high school scholarships.

Event details and schedule

All routes begin and end at Stanwood Middle School in Stanwood.  

Day-of registration is online only; no cash or checks at the start.

Pick up your Bib prior to riding.  Century riders may pick up at 7:30am; all other riders pick up starting at 8am.    

Rest and food stops are located outside at Cama Beach State Park and Walter Hutchison County Park on Camano Island and at Stanwood Middle School.  An additional rest and food stop for Century riders is at Bonhoeffer Gardens.

Course closes at 5pm.
